Why Do We Take Part in Trade Fairs and Conferences? A Summary of the Past Months with Sounds Wood

In recent months, we have been where education, nature, and passionate people meet.

The past few months have been exceptionally intense for our team. We have had the opportunity to take part both in events aimed at individual customers and in conferences and congresses bringing together representatives and experts in the field of education.

We were present at:

  • the Book Fair in Kraków
  • the Forest Conference in Rogów
  • the TRŁ (Lovely Things Fair) in Kraków
  • the Book Game Fair
  • the Montessori Conference in Warsaw
  • the Montessori Conference in Łódź
  • the Edu Horyzonty Congress

Each of these events had a different character, but they all shared one thing – the opportunity to meet people who are committed to creating a meaningful environment for children’s development.

Meetings with Parents – Understanding Real Needs

Trade fairs were primarily an opportunity for us to talk with parents. It is during these conversations that we can learn what they are looking for, what their experiences are, and what matters most to them when choosing educational tools.

We are very pleased that parents pay attention not only to the aesthetics of our products, but above all to their educational value, alignment with current scientific knowledge, and the use of natural materials.

Conversations with Teachers and Specialists

The Montessori conferences, the Edu Horyzonty Congress, and the Forest Conference were excellent opportunities to exchange experiences with teachers, school principals, educators, and representatives of forestry authorities.

These conversations help us better understand the needs of people who work with children every day. We learn about their perspectives, challenges, and expectations, which allows us to further develop our products in response to real needs.

Relationships That Turn into Cooperation

One of the most valuable outcomes of our presence at fairs and conferences is the relationships we build. Many of them started with a short conversation at our stand and today have turned into concrete collaborations, new development opportunities, and joint projects.

This shows that face-to-face meetings still hold enormous value. They build trust, enable the exchange of experience, and create partnerships that continue to bear fruit long after the events end. Thanks to them, we are not only expanding our network but also developing Sounds Wood as a brand – open to cooperation, dialogue, and co-creating valuable solutions for education.

What Did We Hear Most Often?

Regardless of the location, very similar opinions about our puzzles kept appearing.

The most frequently appreciated aspects were:

  • the use of natural wood
  • alignment with scientific knowledge
  • calm design without excessive colors or stimuli
  • durability and high-quality craftsmanship
  • educational value supporting child development

This is a great motivation for us and confirmation that we are heading in the right direction.

Why Is Being Present at Events So Important to Us?

Although many things can be done online today, nothing replaces direct, in-person meetings. Every conversation gives us new perspectives, inspires further development, and helps us create products that respond to the real needs of children, parents, and teachers.

For us, participating in fairs and conferences is much more than presenting our offer. It is an opportunity to listen, ask questions, exchange experiences, and build relationships that eventually turn into meaningful cooperation.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, asked questions, shared their experiences, and left us with many kind words. Every meeting reinforces our belief that it is worth creating products based on science, nature, and high-quality craftsmanship.

We are glad to be part of a community that values conscious education and children’s development.

See you at the next fairs, conferences, and events – we hope to meet you in person again very soon.
